Behind the Scenes
This is the official web-site for The MC2 Project, Denver-based progressive rock band. The name of the band comes from Albert Einstein’s formula: E=M*C**2 (E=MC2). Yes, this is all about energy, time and articulation. The main idea for The MC2 project music is articulated expression in music, combining rock, jazz, and classical approaches.
The band formed in 2020 by a rock guitar player and producer and a professional keyboard player, inviting exceptional musicians for the collaboration in releasing its music. Initially the band was focused on studio work to craft its style, and now the band has evolved into live performances as well.
We are working on releasing next instrumental album #4 and have already started album #5 which will be including vocal parts. We are excited about our new vocalist and an enhanced direction.
Currently we have released three albums and one single. All are available on all major streaming platforms.
